Madison Bates, MS, NCC, PLPC
she/her
Madison takes a somatic approach in collaborating with clients, viewing experiences through a polyvagal lens. Polyvagal Theory emphasizes the role of the autonomic nervous system in regulating our health and behavior. This view aids in facilitating individuals' understanding of their body’s response to stress and trauma.
Madison works with adults and adolescents who have experiences of trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief. She strives to create a safe and welcoming environment where techniques that promote awareness of bodily sensations and emotional states are explored. Through this process, clients learn to move through these more fluidly.
