Victoria Nachman, PLPC
Victoria is trained in EMDR with background in meditation, yoga, and dance therapy. She is working beyond EMDR standard training to become certified, an advanced designation in EMDR. Victoria believes that the mind-body connection is key to healing trauma and other mental health concerns, and that EMDR is a powerful tool which aids the brain's innate ability to heal itself.
Victoria joined our team in 2022, with experience providing individual and group therapy to students and staff at Southeastern Louisiana University Counseling Center. As an intern at SLU, she also worked with students in recovery from addiction and substance use.
Victoria taught community-based meditation and restorative yoga classes at The Ohm Well and was President of the Yoga Club at Loyola University. During her dance therapy internship at Isadora's Children Dance Company in Westport, CT, Victoria assisted in developing a dance therapy program for young women recovering from eating disorders.
Before earning a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Orleans with a 4.0 GPA, Victoria graduated Cum Laude and with University Honors from Loyola University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts with Majors in Sociology and Environmental Studies as well as a Minor in Mass Communication.
Victoria offers in-person and Telehealth sessions to adults at the rate of $95 per 50-min session.
In accordance with the No Surprises Act, fees are communicated in advance. While out of network with insurance, a receipt is available for possible reimbursement.
